On average, 18 Quebecers per day are diagnosed with prostate cancer. This is why PROCURE has been working to raise awareness for more than 20 years and has put forward several initiatives to meet the needs of those affected by prostate cancer, through information and support, awareness and our contribution to research projects from PROCURE's Biobank.
PROCURE is an organization that depends on the generosity of its donors to accomplish its mission. This is why we have the responsibility to ensure sound financial management, the judicious use of funds, as well as transparency and long-term profitability. Thus, PROCURE makes every effort to reduce its administrative costs.
For the last fiscal year, PROCURE was able to minimize its administrative costs to only 7%. This means that at least $0.93 of every dollar donated directly supports the fight against prostate cancer. You can therefore be assured that your donation has a concrete impact on people affected by prostate cancer.

Donations by gift of securities
According to current tax regulations, your donation of securities is exempt from capital gains tax only when the securities are transferred in kind. An official tax receipt will be issued based on the date that the donation form document is signed, which will also be used to determine the donation value, calculated according to the closing price of the securities on that date. If the securities are denominated in a currency other than Canadian dollars, the exchange rate published by the Bank of Canada on the date of signature will be used.
